Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, the student will be able to:

Unit Description

Two or three meetings of up to three hours each may be held between the student and the faculty member who is directing the study.

During the semester further meetings may be arranged.

There will normally be a final summative meeting between the student and the faculty member.

The early meetings will set out material to read, material to be found and researched, and an area of closer detail and analysis required.

Later meetings will seek to put skills in place as needed, and to shape the reading and research towards a detailed topic or set of topics, to set clear assessment goals, and to provide strategic feedback to the student.
