Unit Description

This unit explores the importance of developing solid biblical and theological foundations for Environmental stewardship as central to Gods mission.

Students will explore the biblical foundations for environmental care as mission. The unit will also explore current debates regarding climate change and other relevant ethical issues related to caring for the earth.

Teaching Strategies

Teaching strategies include lectures, tutorials, case studies and presentation of instructional material in the form of printed documentation, OHP, DVD, video and audio tape. Students also learn by class discussion and debate, personal study, preparation of assignments, assessment comments on their work and on-line interaction.
